The cave interior is cold and damp, a strange fog obscuring your path, until your toes sink into something wet and icy.
A lake extends in front of you, perfectly circular and perfectly still, except for the waves caused by your intrusion.
As the ripples settle, you notice a book on a podium.
It opens on a blank page, and instructions are etched in gold at the top: “Face yourself in the mirrored surface of the lake, and see past what you want to believe, past what everybody says, to the real you. Add your name in the Book, and so in the history of the Society.”
➡️ Decide YOUR name. This is the first step in your character sheet! Think carefully about it!
